Dentistry uses a number of ceramic tooth restorative materials. A major advantage is the aesthetic nature of these materials as they can be created to match neighbouring teeth. They are also strong, and easy to keep clean as they resist staining. Cerec restorations are a one visit ceramic restoration which can be milled and placed on the day of tooth preparation.
